Gu’labir

“More, Quickly”

Colors: Yellow, red, brown, pink

Symbols: a chalice of blood, a pig’s heart, a crown of laurels

The god of hedonism and decadence, Gu’labir was removed from the Pantheon over three centuries ago. Very few, even his active followers, know the true details of his worship, and remaining practices are based on fragmentary historical records.

Though known for revelry to the layfolk, Gu’labir is more infamously known for the depraved rituals of his followers. He still lurks in the realm of Circadia, delighting in the attention of his various pockets of support. He maintains a jovial favor and has never begrudged his absence from the Pantheon. He has never been one for structure.

Followers of Gu’labir
There are precious few open followers of Gu’labir in Circadia. Those who remain are among the strangest in Circadia and given to twisted delights and pursuits.

To play a follower of Gu’labir is to play a character associated with an, at best, morally questionable God. Do not play a follower of Gu’labir if you want to play a goodly character.

Gu’labir and the Layfolk
Gu’labir is little more than a myth to most Layfolk. Indeed, over the years, the idea of the God has given way to parody and farce, and there are various plays, festivals, and other artistic pieces that invoke the God. This no doubt pleases Gu’labir greatly.

Costuming and Appearance
Since there are so few followers of Gu’labir, there is no real established common look. True followers tend to wear his colors and symbols, though they are such an odd bunch that they leave much up to interpretation. Normal folk who follow the God are all but entirely secret about their worship.

The Blessed
The Blessed of Gu’labir, strangely, often grow small patches of fungi on their bodies.
