“Chaos and Change are Twins”
Colors: orange, turquoise, gold
Symbols: a storm cloud, a golden sunrise on a turquoise sea, gusts of wind, a chrysalis, a Monarch butterfly

Opix is the God of Change, Transformation, and, to a surprising extent, Chaos. Constantly in flux and ever moving, Opix governs the shifting patterns of weather as well as the transformation of Mortals in mind, body, and spirit.
Opix was, long ago, a member of the Pantheon. However, after a brief tenure, they decided that they were better served acting independently. While Opix does not act directly against the Pantheon, they do indeed inspire Mortals freely, regardless of the Mortal’s opinions on the Pantheon.
Opix occupies a unique place among the Gods as they are authority over both the natural world and the spiritual world. As a nature God, they have dominion over the particularity of weather pattern. As a God among Mortals, they help govern the immense challenge that is spiritual, bodily, and mental growth and change.
Opix also dabbles in Chaos. Their purview within Chaos is unclear to Mortals and most of the Gods but is a realm of increasing interest.
Followers of Opix
While they are a Fallen God, Opix nonetheless frequently alights to the Mortal Realm. They delight in the imagination of Mortals and the special Chaos Mortal ambitions create. However, Opix’s followers–however chaotic they may be–are universally goodly in nature.
Opix’s followers come from all walks of life, but they share one thing in common: they have experienced a major Transformation and found solace in the strange comfort Opix offers.
To play a follower of Opix is to play a character associated with a goodly, if mischievous, God. Do not play a follower of Opix if you want to play a character with less savory morals.
Opix and the Layfolk
Opix is popular to many Layfolk, particularly those who rely on weather. There are many fables about Opix–these folktales, told to children, are both entertainment and education. Through Opix’s exploits, children learn both the delight and danger of foolhardiness.
Costuming and Appearance
Opix’s followers embrace the vibrancy of their God. Dressing in Opix’s colors and symbols, they are nearly unmistakable. Many echo the wings of butterflies in their raiment.
The Blessed
The Blessed of Opix most frequently manifest strange weather peculiarities on their bodies. Permanently windswept hair, frostbitten cheeks, or skin singed as if by lightening are but a few common examples.
